Since 1993, CTP has provided full spectrum program management services for multiple U.S. government agencies, working in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Services include strategic planning, program management, software development, equipment procurement, training design & delivery, staffing solutions, and program evaluation. In all aspects, we focus on high-quality performance that is on time and within the budget.
CTP has been involved in strategic trade controls since our founding in 1993. Since then, we have worked in dozens of countries to set up nonproliferation and export control regimes on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. In 2008, our experts began helping private companies navigate the complexities of U.S. export controls. We are best known for our classification expertise with the USML and the CCL, but we also assist companies with all the other requirements of the EAR and ITAR such as export licensing, screening, recordkeeping, and training, all customized and compiled in a Policies & Procedures manual.
Our extensive, targeted recruiting capability provides our U.S. government clients with rapid access to highly quality experts, serving in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. We ensure retention through competitive salaries, excellent benefits, experienced oversight, and a supportive corporate culture. We work closely with client managers to monitor performance, maintain communication, and anticipate future needs. CTP’s hiring agility meets our client’s surge requirements by rapidly bringing on-board quality candidates to meet emerging needs.
We have managed over 3,000 meetings, conferences, and tasks throughout the world since 1993, with services typically including turnkey site management, language services, catering, audio visual equipment, language services, and transportation. On other projects, we are asked to focus solely on the planning and management of the specific logistical requirements. With our experience and our network of experts and DMCs (Destination Management Companies), we can handle either type of task effectively and efficiently.
We specialize in experiential training for adult experts, either with web-based tools or instructor-led seminars at both CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of USG capacity building programs. Our course designers and SMEs utilize Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles, notably the ADDIE model, in developing and delivering specialized training in multiple domains. In addition, we often provide planning and logistics services also, including site management, interpreters, technical equipment, catering and transportation. Since 1993, we have delivered training activities in over 100 countries.
CTP has planned, equipped, staffed, and managed physical facilities in the U.S. and abroad, all in support of multi-year, capacity building initiatives of USG agencies. In a recent example, we built, equipped and supported the operations of two different training centers in Accra, Ghana, coordinating training logistics as part of INL's International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) program. Prior to that, we built and operated a training center in the Ronald Reagan building in Washington DC, providing a complete range of services on behalf of the State Department.
On specific occasions, particularly in OCONUS locations, we acquire and transport technical equipment and/or supplies to fulfill the objectives of U.S government programs. In other situations, the requirements involve complex logistics and the capability to coordinate a myriad of organizational details with host-nation entities. CTP is adept in both these specialties, and we have a long track record of on-time, on-budget deliverables to prove it.
CTP assists clients and partner nations with a broad spectrum of international trade services, including strategy development, finance, logistics, facilitation, and compliance. We are highly familiar with government trade cooperation programs as well as related compliance requirements. We can also assist with trade finance and the logistics involved in equipment delivery. We have extensive experience gained from unique situations and challenges over the years, each task providing valuable "lessons learned."
CTP experts help U.S. companies with all their import challenges. We are best known for our work with tariffs, but we also help companies with import policies & procedures, supply chain optimization, ethical and efficient sourcing, correct valuation, thorough documentation, and many other compliance needs. As with our export control efforts, we work first to address the urgent needs of our new clients, then we promote and provide ongoing compliance readiness.
